Find my iphoneapp

Hi

today I misplaced my iPod. So I checked on my iPhone with find my iPhone app and it was shown in the UK, Bristol while I'm living in the U.S. Alabama. So it made it play a sound hoping I'll find it in my house. Couldn't hear it. Later I found it in my garage In the U.S.

can someone explain to me what happend? Is my iCloud account breached or myopic cloned?
