Why is Apple still using the OLD GeForce GT 750M graphics card in MacBook Pro (we are on the 9xx series now)?

Just curious why Apple is still going with the 7xx series cards in the MacBook Pro. I've been holding off buying one even though my wife wants one now because that graphics card is now old. The new 960m, 970m, and the mighty 980m are out now (and have been for some time) and are WAY better than the GT 750m.

Just seems strange that they would pair the latest greatest 5th gen Intel CPUs with a three generations old Nvidia graphics card. If they slapped a GT 960m in there I would buy NOW! 😝
