Lacie 250GB External Drive, folder missing

Sooo I just bought a 15" 2,16ghz macbook pro, and i'm loving it. There is only one problem, and it is with my 250GB Lacie external USB hard drive. My Movies-folder won't show up on my Mac. All the other folders on the Lacie HDD work well (music, pictures, games...) but I cant even SEE my Movies-folder on my Mac. The folder is a little over 100gb in size, but can that be the reason?
When I connect my HDD to my Windows-computer (with XP Home SP2) I can see and use the Movies-folder. The drive is formatted in an XP SP2 system to NTFS.
So, why doesnt my folder show up on Mac, when it does on Windows? If anyone has any ideas, please let me know. Thanks.

Interesting issue you mention. I am not able to get this to happen. I have an external hard disk formatted as NTFS. In Windows XP SP2 I am able to make a well nested directory structure where I placed some quicktime movies. They play just fine in Windows XP SP2. When I boot into Mac OS X 10.4.8 I can navigate to the area and the movies play fine in Finder preview, QuickTime player and even in Front Row. I can also navigate to the directory in the command line. I also tried this while running the Mac in Finnish as you seem to be in Finland.

Are you able to see the directory using the command line via the application Terminal?
