Dashboard Camera

Does anyone use a dashboard camera? If so, what do you do with the recordings on your iMAC? My segments are auto loaded into "Photos". I then have been playing around with iMovie but nothing really good so far. Just curious.

iMac (21.5-inch, Late 2013), OS X Yosemite (10.10)

I'm certain that someone does, but I do not.

After uploading your dashcam video clips to your iMac, you should be able to do anything with them that you do with any other video clips, including deleting uninteresting or unusable clips or clip trimming segments.

Thank you for your response. The only videos I have been working with are the Dashcam ones. I guess what I am looking for is how do you transfer them to iMovie and then have the entire sequence of videos joined as one movie. The Dashcam provides segmensts like 3 or 5 minute clips. These can be viewed individually. I would like one long movie if possible.

Yes iMovie is the place to work with Movies

And as to what to do with the movies - what ever you want

I downloaded the first few sets and figured out that unless something interesting happened the last thing in the world I wanted to do was to sit at the computer and watch an uneventful drive again - so I do not bother to download them unless thee is something I want to see or save - then I download just that
