Deleting multiple albums?

Anyone any idea of how to delete the multiple albums that iPhoto created in the new junk ware app Photos for OS X? I know to delete a single album I can right click / delete but I don't really want to have to do that 300 times!!!! I can't find ANY info online about keyboard shortcuts or about deleting multiple albums. I can't even select multiple albums and right click / delete.

In the drive that Apple seems to have to dumb down all of it's software to become nothing more than iPhone apps you would think they could make it intuitive to use and at least make dumb commands even for a dumb app easy to execute.

Compared to Aperture I have to say I think Photos is absolutely appalling

MacBook Pro, OS X Yosemite (10.10.3)

Useful that you posted to add - what value exactly? Address the query? No. Still, free world, mostly.

Silly? There will come a day when Aperture will cease to function. I will not do any OS X upgrades early any more, so I can easily identify the update that breaks it. At that point I will offload all the RAW files and, as a safety measure, export the whole library in JPG. I will also try to deliberate which option to use as the replacement for Aperture seeing as Apple decided to replace it with dumb-ware.

Meantime I intend to add to Aperture as little as possible, especially not iPhone or personal snaps, of which there are many. So while it may be "silly" to you it isn't to me, much as I don't need to explain my reasoning / justification to you! You do what YOU want, I'll do what I want, if that's OK with you!!
