Q: Photos Library vs iPhoto Library

May 17, 2015 8:38 AMby Charlie_Potatoes,What conceivable reasons would there be to keep iPhoto if Photos is replacing it? Shouldn't it be a superior application? Not trying to be sarcastic, I just want to know if it's worth keeping it on there or what.
If both libraries are referring to the same files, how much space - if any - could I expect to free up by deleting the smaller of the two libraries?

Because you might prefer it and it's capabilities might be more to your needs.

Should it? It's a different application with different features, and some are superior to iPhoto, yes. But not all.
