Q: I used 27 gigs of memory in one week with light usage.

I have a 13in macbook pro running OS X YOSMITE In the last week I used 27 gigs of memory. It seems like I have a lot of duplicates in my photos, movies and Ical. My storage says I have 72 gigs in OTHER.

I understand that you are using more storage on your Mac than you would expect along with a lot of space taken in the Other category.
