Problems editing playlist on ipod

Hi, I am having problems editing playlists on my ipod touch shuffle. I used to be able to do so, but for some reason I am now unable to. I did buy a new laptop, but I have previously used it before to edit playlists on my ipod. Does anyone have any ideas?
