music streaming breaking up

Recently I've noticed my streaming music from iTunes on my Mac Book pro is jumping, breaking up and sometimes bursting into white noise for no reason.
I originally thought it may be my speaker, a new B&O A2 Beoplay. However, if I stream music from my phone, the music is absolutely fine.

Does anyone else have issues with streaming music through Bluetooth on their macs or is it an iTunes issue?
