Q: Photos from iPhone 6 not automatically uploading to Photo Stream on computer (Windows 8.1)

Photos on my iPhone 6 are not automatically uploading to the computer (Windows 8.1). All appropriate boxes are checked on phone.  I have to plug phone into computer, and upload that way.  I have searched Help and so far not finding anything that has solved the problem.  What happened to this feature? It worked with previous iPhones.

iPhone 6, Windows 8

    Hi SCF314,

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities!

I understand that your Photos are not syncing with your computer as you would expect. It sounds from your post like you may have iCloud Photo Library enabled on your iPhone, but not your computer. Please check the system requirements listed in the article below and let me know if your photos are still syncing to the iCloud website, just not your computer.

iCloud Photo Library FAQ - Apple Support

iCloud Photo Library is available with iOS 8.3 and Yosemite 10.10.3. You can also access your entire photo library from the Photos app on iCloud.com.

What do I need to use iCloud Photo Library?

You need an Apple ID, a device with the most recent version of iOS 8 or OS X Yosemite, and enough storage in iCloud to save your photos.

    Best regards,

    Joe
