I have a DVD with subtitles,but the official DVD Player plays both the englisch and the german subtitles at once. This is the first time I have this problem. With the VLC player it works correct.

If you're seeing both subtitles in English & German, you might have to disable the in DVD preference for subtitles and use DVD Player > Preferences > Disc Setup and under Language > Subtitle & set Subtitle Default from Use Disc Default to English or German (Whichever you like) and should be fine.
