I have just subscribed to iTunes match.
I connected my laptop and my desktop. My desktop has most of the albums I own but my laptop had some that my desktop didn't.
I want to free up space on my laptop, so can I now delete all the music from my laptop and just listen to it via the cloud? Or do I need to keep a physical copy of my music somewhere.

You should keep a backup Make and keep a backup of your iTunes library, and only stream from the cloud.

Thanks Jim. That's the answer I was looking for.
However, I have a bunch of the kids dvd's backed up and in iTunes so they can watch on their devices.
If I just delete the whole folder I'll lose these, right?
Can I delete all my music?
