Q: Sony A7II Connection

Has anyone had trouble with the new Sony A7II connecting to a MBP? All Mac software is up to date.

    MacBook Pros don't run Mac OS X 10.3 or earlier, so you are asking the wrong crowd:

    As for the camera connection, I find for media card cameras, it is best to use their media card reader.    Memory Stick Pro readers are around that will run on Yosemite, including built-in card readers to multifunction printers.    Note Memory Stick is not the same as SD and they are not interchangeable.

    You are correct. I'll repost in a better forum.

     

    I do use the memory card, but you must connect the camera directly to upgrade the firmware. It's worked fine for previous cameras I've had. It may be a Sony issue.
