Q: Unresponsive display
Anybody else having issue with their display???
I ordered my Apple Watch on 4/10 at 8AM. I ordered the 42mm stainless steel with the white band. I finally received it 5/14. Out of the box, the display was completely unresponsive. After countless hard resets, I finally plugged it in and reset it and up came "Do you want to start over?" I tried to tap yes, and lo and behold, it worked. Since then, The display worked fine. The only times it wasn't 100% accurate was when I was putting my passcode in. It would tend to register two adjacent numbers although I only tapped on. That didn't see to bother my much since I almost always used the "unlock with iPhone" feature.
Today at dinner dinner time, the same thing happened again. I was going to turn on my lights with the Hue app and nothing. Nothing I did seem to fix it. I even tried doing exactly what I did the first time and nothing. I'm on the phone with Apple support now and apparently they can ship on out to me tomorrow but only if I purchase AppleCare plus on the spot.
I'm really considering returning that thing and waiting for Version 2.0.
