Q: Transfer watch data from one phone to another

I have had my watch for about a week, and have to switch my from a 6 to 6 plus. I unpaired my watch and paired it with the 6+. Nothing transferred, the watch is back to its original settings. The activity tracker on the 6 still shows the information from the watch, so I think the information still exists. Is there any way to transfer the information from the 6?

The Apple Watch is not a mechanism that transfers data between iPhones.  The way to do that is through the backup of your iPhone.

If you encrypted your iPhone 6's backup using an encryption password, then your health data would have been stored on the iPhone 6's backup.  When you set up your iPhone 6+, you could then use your iPhone 6's backup to start.

Otherwise, your health data is lost.
