Apple Cinema Display attached to other Apple ID

Hi,

I have a question and I did not find an answer yet. I have bought a secondhand 27" Cinema Display almost 2 years ago. Today I thought that I might add all my Apple Devices to my support page but I found that when I add the display it states that it is still attached to another Apple ID. I assume it is the previous owner from who I bought the display. Since it has been almost 2 years ago, I do not have his contact details anymore, so I cannot contact him. Is there any way I can have the monitor attached to my Apple ID?
