Mine is really bad. With a white background you can see severe ghosting from the different watch faces I've used. I've tried a few tricks I read online but nothing works. I've tried all the tricks I read online but nothing seems to help.

Your issue is not settings-related.

I suggest that you contact Apple Support (mail-in service may be available, if required), make a Genius Bar reservation or visit an Apple Authorised Service Provider for assistance:

Same problem for me! Watch Sport 42mm. What apple say about this?

If you have the same issue as Gwartoy (which is different than the issue discussed earlier in this thread), then I suggest that you contact Apple Support for assistance:

Hi, I have also some thing like that. In fact, there is no ghost "smoke" behind the clocks and not behind the apps. This appears only behind the "faces" (that I get when I slide up from the clock) and behind the notification (when I slide down from the clock). It's like those screens have a "transparent" background, and the apps have "non transparent" background. So behind the faces and the notifications, I can see some "greyish clouds", not always the same shape, but sometime it is quite difficult to read the information that the face displays, as this "smoky things" blurs the screen.
Someone may have same thing or any idea ? Thanks.

I bought the sport watch in France two weeks ago, but now I'm back in Thailand were the watch isn't sold yet. I will not be back to France before September.

Thanks for your reply.

No, it's not the watch face, its whichever app was opened last, there is a ghost picture in the background. This has only just started, but seems to be getting worse. I noticed on the forums that others have had the same problem, but the solutions they tried to solve the problem have not worked for me.

Do you have any other suggestions ?

Thanks

Thanks Nick !
The smoke gone away immediatlty ! But that doesn't justify that there is that smoke behind faces and notifications.
If it was on all and every Apple Watch, Internet will be full of complains, but i is not the case.
So i will try, when I will be back to France, to have an exchange (and test before take on another Watch if this smoky blur appears or not).

Thanks again !
