iTunesAn ibook's requirements are listed on its description page in the store.
If the ibook is free or from one of the publishers who doesn't include digital rights management on their books then you might be able to read them (e.g. via Calibre), but the majority of ibooks can only be read in the iBooks app on iOS devices and Mac computers.
