Q: Trying to Reinstall Windows 7 on Bootcamp Yosemite

Hello everyone, i recently had my logic board replaced and reinstalled Yosemite 10.10.3, been trying to reinstall my copy of windows 7, now i successfully partitioned the SSD drive but when i go to install windows (using external disc drive, superdrive will not accept disc), i get a black screen and my drive stops spinning the disc. My version of Bootcamp does not give me the option to make a usb bootable, any suggestions on how i can get Windows 7 on my Macbook Pro (Late 2011)

How is the new partition formatted. Microsoft only works in FAT32 format and can't talk to Macs other formats. I found this out when I restored and partitioned my older mac. This may be obvious to you already but I thought I would mention it.

1. If you have another working Mac which will let you install W7, you can clone it, using third-party tools.
2. You can replace the internal Optical drive, because your Mac with a built-in Optical drive, neither will allow a USB to be created, not will allow an external Optical drive to be used. There a couple of 2011 and 2012 models which will let you use either USB or DVD.

also the bit format 64 or 32 makes a difference. Mac is 32 I believe so they won't vibe...
