Ipad 3 connected but no browsing

My IPad 3 with the latest IOS updates has recently developed a connection problem. I am not able to browse Internet and use the apps. Sometimes it allows me to open some websites like yahoo.com and Facebook but they also take too long to open. Apparently it is connected to the internet but I can't browse the interne. I have reset the network settings as suggested in one of the discussion forums but that too was of no help.

help please.

Are you referring to your home Wi-Fi? Is this a Wi-Fi only iPad? What other troubleshooting have you tried besides resetting network settings? Do you have any other devices that connect to the network and work?

I Have done the renew lease option, changed the DNS as suggested in some sites.

It is a wifi only iPad. I am using home wifi.

MY Iphone 6 plus, TV and laptops are all connected and are working, so I guess the problem is with the IPad; not with the networ.

Not necessarily. Go back to Settings and forget the network. Then power cycle your router. Disconnect it from power for about 30 seconds and then reconnect it. After the router has finished rebooting, attempt to connect the iPad.

I suggest making a backup of the device and then restore. However, restore as new, and before adding any additional content back to the device, test the Wi-Fi. If it works, then restore your backup.

Nothing? You cannot access anything in Safari, retrieve mail, nothing? I suggest you make an appointment at the Genius Bar of the nearest Apple store to have the device evaluated.
