is there a Mac that can support 128G of RAM?

I have a large immunological dataset that I need to analyze but my 2013 Mac Pro (two 512G SSD drives, 64G) starts swapping before the problem is completed. I need 128G of RAM to complete analysis, but I cannot find a way to increase my existing Mac Pro beyond 64G. Any ideas other than moving to a Dell T5600 or similar?

Pay careful attention to the word "Registered" when you are getting into 16GB modules sizes and above. Registered DIMMs do not work happily with non-Registered DIMMs, so all the non-Registered DIMMs generally have to be set aside.

In your case, the 16GB DIMMs you have are likely already Registered, so this will likely not be an issue for you.
