May 18, 2015 3:48 PM in response to jenseelyby FoxFifth,If you synced the photos to your iPhone from a computer using iTunes, you can remove them from the phone without deleting them from the computer. See the instructions quoted below from Sync photos to your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch in iTunes - Apple Support
Delete synced photos
- In iTunes, locate and click on your device.
- Click Photos.
- Choose "Selected albums" and deselect the albums or collections you want to delete.
To delete all synced photos, deselect "Sync Photos from" and, when asked, click "Remove photos." - Click Apply.

Mar 22, 2016 10:21 AM in response to FoxFifthby Marcia F,I have easily completed Step 1. of the four in the box above. I find my device (iPhone 5s) and click on it. But there is NO PHOTOS TAB AVAILABLE. Somehow I'm in iTunes music only, and can't get elsewhere. (Although I have indeed synced photos from iPhone to MacBook 12" easily in the past.)
How do I find photos to delete?
