Q: my iphone 5c screen is black but the phone is still turned on

I was just listening to music, and when I went to sit down I got my phone out of my back pocket. It was still playing music so I went to turn it off, but the screen wouldn't light up. I even tried restarting it, but it doesn't help. My phone screen was already cracked, but it still worked. Does anyone have anything that can help me???
