Can i recover deleted files from my iphone (deleted over a year ago)? No backup taken yet? I was stupid enough not to take icloud backup. Is there any way i can do that? My old pics are very precious to me.

I don't think so, that's what backups are for.
Let me see if I understand you completely. You have deleted files on your iPhone over a year ago, and you had never backed up the device, and now you want to try and recover them? Have you been using the phone all this time? Without a backup you will not be able to recover any data.
Time past too long, have you been using the phone all the time last year? If so, you may not find your data back, as it has been overwritten probably, If you do not use it often, there is little, slightest hope, Try easeus mobisaver to retrieve it, if it is really important for you, but it does not guarantee success. good luck for you.
