I want to buy a new iMac (Yosemite) but I need to use a professional application running only on 10.5.
So is it possible to install 10.5 on a virtual machine running in the same time with Yosemite ?

Haven't tried 10.5, I suspect the Virtual machine would require 10.5 Server edition, like it does for 10.6, it must be 10.6 Server.

What kind of virtual machine did you use ?
VM ware ? Parallels Desktop ?
All 3, VM Ware, Paralles, & VirtualBox, but the problem may be that versions of those Apps old enough to possibly support 10.5 Server, won't likely run in OSwhY!
ok, I will try any way to install MW Ware on Yosemite, then 10.5 server.
