Hello, after failed download of APN profile to my ipad mini 2, I cannot turn on my device. It's not even possible to restore it via itunes. It says an unknown error ocurred (1). Any idea, how it may be fixed?

What was the source of the APN profile? Where did you download it from?

Is your iPad jailbroken?
Generally error code 1 is hardware failure. Make a Genius Bar appointment to
have your iPhone evaluated.

My iPad is not jailbroken. Yeah, I am afraid the hardware failed. But I still don't understand why it failed during the APN downloading or it was probably just a coincidence.

Most likely coincidence. Or the download was corrupt.
Make a Genius Bar appointment to have your iPad evaluated.

The Genius Bar will be able to tell you if the iPad is recoverable; if not,
they will tell you what options you have.
So, it was not possible to recover it. The device had to be replaced.
