Does the imac support dvd-R (the small discs)

I need to put a disc into my mac but it is a small disc and because it is slot loading I am worried it wont like it and then wont be able to eject it. I am always having problems burning movies to disc and generally ejecting discs so i am even more worried to try it! Please help!

Hello and Welcome to Apple Discussions.

Do not put small disks in your Intel iMac.. Only full size regular shaped disks are supported.

Only the iMac 233-333MHz and 700MHz -1.25GHz can handle small disks.

This Apple article says that their use will not be covered by Apple's warranty.
