Bought apps from itunes. can't open and use them on macbook pro. need help to transfer to macbook and open same.thanks

They are two different operating systems. The Mac App Store is not the only place to get apps, you can also (though possibly not always) get them directly from the developer's website

In the Mac App Store app on the MacBook, it should be in the Applications folder

All of the apps in the iTunes App Store are for iOS devices... iPhones and iPads. They will not run on a Mac. You need to use the Mac App Store if you want Mac Apps.

The icons for the app stores on your Mac and iPad are similar, and they are where you get apps for that computer/device - so on your Mac it's the Mac App Store (with apps for your Mac), on your iPad it's the iTunes App Store store (for iOS apps for the iPad).

It is not the same app. One is written for iOS, the other is written for OS X. If you don't like that, complain to the app developers and try to convince them to give one of their products away for free.
