How do I make it be in table format?

Hi Kathleen,


In Pages 5, there is no command (that I can find) to convert text to table. You can select the text, copy and paste it into a table.

But first you have to tell numbers how to break the text into columns. Do this by inserting tab characters where you want the column breaks.

(With Menu > View > Show Invisibles, the tabs show as blue arrows.)

Now insert a table, select the text and copy

Click once in the table to select it, then click once in cell A1 (not a double click) and paste

If you double click on a cell and paste, you will get this

Probably not what you want 😉.
