Where is the iPhoto library and how do I find it?

I have read all of the earlier articles but would like to find the iPhoto library folder and back it up

iMac (27-inch Mid 2011), iOS 6.1.4

Choose Home from the Finder's Go menu, and then double-click the Pictures subfolder.
