Need help on pricing and tax!

Okay, so I live in Texas but I do not know the tax rate and need help! I bought two things: and in app purchase of $4.99 and an app for .99 cents, after a week it charged my card and the amount charged was $6.38, was this amount for both of them or just one because I bought five nights at Freddy's for like $2.99 and it totaled into $3.19

Kitten,

Texas has a state sales tax of 6.25%. Due to local taxes on top of that, the actual rate paid by a consumer can be from 6.25% to 8.25%, depending where you live.

In your case, the two purchases add to 4.99 + .99 = $5.98. The total charge of $6.38 means that you are paying a tax rate around 6.7%.
