I have the settings for both my iPhone and my iPad set for Wi-Fi sync. However, my iPad only shows up when it's plugged in were as my iPhone is always listed. What's the problem?

That doesn't help. Its not the network as my iPhone shows up after being disconnected.

Honestly I did not go through the network modem device resets as if the network was the problem my iPhone would be doing the same thing, yes?
