external monitors daisy chain

Dear members of coomunitiy,

I have a 13 inch Macbook Pro with retina display(2013 late).

i bought two Dell u2414h displays.

Can i use these in daisy chain mode (MST) attached in one thunderbolt port(displayPort 1.2)?

link: mbp thunderbolt port <------> monitor 1 displayPort in | displayPort out <------------> monitor_2 displayPort in

first link attached with mDP to DP1.2 cable.

in this case currently i get mirrored screens.

MacBook Pro with Retina display, OS X Mavericks (10.9.4)

Hello Opanszki

I have the exactly same problem with a macbook pro 15" late 2013 retina display and DELL U2414H Display.

I have they linked the same way you did but all I get is a secondary mirrored display, the macbook pro doesn't "see" them a 2 separate displays.

I'm running Yosemite 10.10.4

Unfortunately even though MST is supported, daisy chaining is only supported with the thunderbolt displays. I'm keeping track of posts around this issue here MST Support but no support for daisy chaining?. Hope we will get some attention from the apple dev team.
