iPod won't charge. Different cords hasn't worked.

Charged my iPod all night last night, but it didn't charge at all. When it is plugged in, it says it is charging, but the battery doesn't move. Won't turn on anymore either, so I can't access anything from the iPod. Different cords hasn't worked. Different kinds of charging hasn't worked; i.e. outlet, power bank, computer. When plugged into a computer, the computer doesn't recognize it. I would like to keep the same iPod. Not sure if any pictures are backed up since I don't use iCloud. Have already had it for over one year, so warranty won't cover it. 5th generation, I believe 32 GB.
