Q: Mac Mail not allowing me to change accounts

I have 5 email accounts on my Mac Mail.

Since May 1 every email I send using my yahoo or shaw email account gets sent using my gmail account.

I can select the shaw or yahoo profile but once sent it shows that it came from my gmail account.

I have tried taking it offline and unchecking Enable this account but it makes no difference.

Any help would be sorely appreciated.

iMac (27-inch Mid 2011), Mac OS X (10.7.5)

Try Mail/Preferences/Accounts /Account Information. Select an account, then go to Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP). From the drop down menu select Edit SMPT server list. Then set up a server for each mail account so that is associated with the e-mail address. Then go to each account and set that server as the Outgoing Mail Server (SMPT). You can click Use only this server if desired.

    Thanks Eric.

I did everything you said but it still would only use google.

I noticed though when I went it to the SMPT servers that shaw showed offline.

I googled that and a suggestion was to turn off authenication and that worked.

So thanks for getting this rolling!
