The information outlined below can help get Siri to function correctly.
Make sure that Siri can hear you clearly
If Siri can't understand what you're saying, follow these steps:
- Make sure the microphones aren't blocked.
- If you're using a case, try removing it.
- Try turning your device off and then on again.
Use Siri with audio accessories
- Siri will work with many audio accessories, including wired and wireless headsets and car stereos.
- Get help with Bluetooth headsets and headphones.
- Get help with car stereo connections.
- If you're using an audio device that connects using the Dock Connector, Siri won't route through that device. You'll need to use your device, wired headset, or Bluetooth headset to interact with Siri.
- If you're using your iOS device with a device that uses a Remote User Interface, make sure that you interact with your iOS device using the car stereo or other device. If you try to use the touchscreen, Siri or Voice Control won't work.
