Q: I have a Brothers MFC 9130 cw and having difficulty scanning from the touch screen on the device. I select the file which shows up on the screen and click OK but then the next thing I see is "close check connection. I can scan from my mac

I'm trying to scan from a Brothers MFC 9130 CW by using the touch pad on the device. When I select scan then file and click OK, the next screen says close check network. I'm certain I'm connected because I can scan from my Macbook Pro with the Brothers product. Why is it telling me to check the connection to the network?
