These work:
1) Radeon Eyefinity cards all seem to work .... advanced switching technology
2) Radeon 5900s with mini displayport
3) Radeon 4000 series with displayport ( use a mini displayport to displayport cable)
4) Radeon 3000 series with displayport ( use a mini displayport to displayport cable)

If you have a 2010 27" iMac all that is required is a Mini-Display port cable and a PC with a Mini-Display port input. The simply follow the directions in the FAQ. If you can meet these two simple requirements then you should be in business, if it will not work then you should look further into what may be the issue. Sorry I cannot trouble shoot those issues with you however I'd focus on changing cables, ensuring the PC's port is viable and also that you are using the correct keyboard commands to connect the two devices. -
May 20, 2015 2:28 PM in response to ian20xby ian20x,Ideally, I'd like to know this is going to work before investing in equipment. Is there anybody with experience on this specific scenario, who can list actual equipment used that worked?
