May 20, 2015 11:10 AM in response to LarryHNby Rudolfensis,Thanks for your suggestion.
I tried it, and it's asking me to pay $60 a year for the priveledge.
Like most other people, I have more than 5GB of photos.
I'd like to do this for free — with the USB cable, like it used to work in iPhoto and the old iOS. I already paid $800 for a phone and $2000 for a laptop.
Any suggestions?

May 26, 2015 10:24 AM in response to Rudolfensisby LarryHN,No because there is no other simple way - you can email the edited photos to you self - you can add the to MyPhotoStream after editing
but the only real and clean solution to your wish is iCloud Photo Library - you can choose to do what you want or choose not to - the option is there is you want it

May 27, 2015 5:33 AM in response to LarryHNby Rudolfensis,I've read around the forums that apparently Photos.app should not be behaving like this.
A lot of people (with a high level on these forums) were saying that it will be able to read .aae files unlike iPhoto.
Seems that's not the case?
Is it the same for you?
