Problemas al pasar archivos al timeline

Les escribo porque se me presento un problema que no logro solucionar, primero tengo un video de 30minutos en formato .MTS, como el final cut no soporta este formato utilizo un transformador y lo convierto a .MP4, el sistema lo agarra y lo cargo en el programa pero cuando lo quiero agregar al TIME LINE me aparece el siguiente mensaje

"attention - This clip does nor match this sequence´s settings or any of your sequence presents.

for best performance your sequence and external video should be set to the forma of the clips you are editing.

Change sequence settings to match the clip settings?"

Coloco que si y me recorta el video a máximo un minuto treinta (01:30) eso me pasa con todos los vídeos (sin importar la duración ni el formato), como quería solo segmentos del video utilice el Viewer para separar los segmentos que necesitaba y produje todos los recortes, pero cuando quiero juntar todos los recortes que tengo los cuales están en formato .MOV los voy colocando una a uno en la timeline, cuando paso la barrera del minuto treinta mas o menos me aparece el siguiente mensaje

"General Error"

Tildo "ok"

Y luego el Canvas se coloca totalmente de color ROJO con el siguiente mensaje

"Display unavailable. Close and repone window to restore"

Luego de esto cada vez que coloco un video me sigue apareciendo el mensaje de error, trato de hacer Render y no lo hace (no me aparece la linea roja sobre los vídeos)

Espero me puedan indicar que esta pasando, me he metido por todos lados y si es algo de la configuración de la aplicación no doy con cual seria

I don't speak Spanish, so I used Google translate and that may or may not have translated what you posted correctly, but here are some suggestions:

You should not be editing in FCP7 with H.264 or mp4 files as you source. FCP7 does not support that material correctly, even though it (unfortunately) appears to do so - and it is very problematic to work with.

You need to convert the MTS source files to ProRes for editing to FCP7, you can use an application like Edit Ready (US$50):

Your other choice is to work with a more modern editor such as FCP-X or Premiere Pro which will work with the files without conversion.
