We have received a bogus alert on Safari saying to call system support @ 647-360-4454. A man with accent answered and started asking questiions which made me suspicious. I now cannot get rid of this alert or open anything on Safari.

We got a bogus alert on Safari which read: http://www.macsecurity-alert.com

System Alert.

Suspicious acuity of intrusions detected which is trying to

redirect you to an attack site.

This may happen due to obsolete virus protections.

To fix, please call system support at

l-647-4454 immediately. Please ensure you do not

restart your computer to prevent data loss.

We cannot get rid of this message even though we have turning off Safari and our computer. Every time we reconnect with Safari, the message reappears.

Any advice on how to get rid of this permanently would be greatly appreciated.!!!!!

Choose Force Quit from the Apple menu, close Safari, and then launch it with the Shift key held down. If that doesn't work, temporarily disconnect the computer from the Internet.

If that message continues to appear, click here and run Adware Medic. You may need to download it from a different web browser.
