I have had my Apple TV for 2 weeks now and every thing seems to be working fine home sharing is on in iTunes and Apple TV however when I go into Computer on through the Apple TV it gives me a message to turn home sharing on in iTunes. I have search for an answer and tried lost of suggestions but nothing is working. Please can someone help

I followed the instruction in all the links that you sent me and everything was/has been set as per instructions But still when I go to Computer in apple TV it is still tells me to turn on home share, it is very frustrating as is it on in both the iTunes and Apple TV.

There seems to be a home-sharing "issue" with Yosemite. Sometimes I need to quit and restart iTunes on the iMac to get the ATV see it. Once connected it works fine. There does not seem to be a permanent fix.

I switched off my computer, router and Apple TV waited 5 mins and turned on the router and computer and finally the Apple TV no change with the problem.
