Accessing a PuTTy server through terminal

I have read online I can access a PuTTy server through OSX Terminal, but I have not been able to find instructions in how to, is there anyone who could explain this process better for me please. Thank you.

MacBook Pro with Retina display, OS X Yosemite (10.10.3)

I found my solution, under Terminal all I need to do was type ssh username@servername and it linked me into the server I needed
