Downgrading to Snow Leopard

If I downgrade to Snow Leopard from Yosemite will my applications be affected/lost?
For example, Logic X (recently purchased).
iMac (21.5-inch Late 2009), OS X Yosemite (10.10.2)
No, but some applications may require a newer OSX than Snow Leopard in order to run. I suggest that you install Snow leopard on an external HD or partition your internal HDD.
