music app crashes on iPad air 2 after installing ios 8.3

Since upgrading to iOS 8.3 on my iPad Air 2 the music app crashes randomly while listening to music.

I've tried deselecting Shuffle, Repeat and every combination thereof to no avail.

Sometimes it will play for an hour before it crashes and other times it will crash every 10 minutes or so.

I cannot begin to tell you how frustrating this can be.

How do I stop my iPad Air 2 from crashing while listening to music?

Is there one specific song or video that the Music.app crash?

No.

It will crash randomly regardless of which playlist is playing.

My playlist don't include redundant song choices.

Are you running out of storage on the device? If yes, try to free storage.

Otherwise try if resetting the iPad will help, and if all fails, reinstall the Music app by restoring the iPad.
