I imported some clips from an SD card and completed a project not realizing that the clips were still referenced to the card. I no longer have the card but all the files are on my computer. I would rather not recreate my entire project. Is there a way to reassign the "Missing Camera" clips to the files I have on my computer so I don't have to redo all my edits?

Either select clips with the icon or select the event… and from the menu, File>Import>Reimport from Camera/Archive.

Thanks for the response Russ. I no longer have the SD card to reimport the photos so Reimporting from the Camera/Archive is not an option at this point.

Yeah I have the files on my desktop. I ended up getting the sd card back from the client and loading the original files back into it and then reimporting from the camera archive. But goodness sakes they should just let you relink missing camera archives like they do with missing files. Thanks for the help!
If you copy the card intact to your Mac, Final Cut will see it to reimport from.

i got the same error. all missing file from audio, video and image . when i click to open the folder's root. it informs that zero bytes
You have a different issue than the OP.
My suggestion is that you start a new thread that's specific to yours.

It appears that the contents of your Original Media folder became corrupt. These files of size zero ought to be symbolic links to the actual media files.
I would try to open the most recent backup and see if it fixes things - File->Open Library->From Backup...
If that fails, it may be possible to do a little trip to the Terminal and try to restore those symbolic links.

Well, at this point in the discussion, it's probably academic, but you don't need forum participation seniority to start a new discussion. One way to start one is to click on the New button at the top of the page.
