Xcode Running on the new 12 Inch MacBook
Hi,
Does anyone have a new MacBook and has tried to use some IDEs (Xcode, Eclipse...) on it. How is the performance and compile times? Can you recommend the machine for programming?

I've had Jboss running using eclipse, and a virtual box instance of Linux with no issues. However, my role now is more POCs and hello world examples. I'd still go with an i5 i7 CPU for "real" coding. If it's college you're talking about, I think the new MacBook will be fine. We have a few folks at work using a now 2 year old MBA and doing some serious programming (Java EE)
