how do I move the photos folder to an external hard drive drive? My ssd is getting full
MacBook Pro, OS X Mavericks (10.9.2)
drag it to an external drive that is formatted Mac OS extended (journaled) and is connected by a fast hard wired connection - hold down the option key while launching Photos and select the new location -- be sure the EHD is available before launching Photos
