What do I do when my computer says quit installer after it downloaded this new OX s software but won't let me quit just gives me an option to restart my computer

If the option is in 4 four languages you have a kernel panic. See my FAQ* http://www.macmaps.com/kernelpanic.html

If the option is in one language, go ahead and let it restart.
