i get unknown error (48) when trying to restore my iphone 4s to ios 8.3, the restoration process reaches (restoring iphone firmware) then gives the error
please help me!!!!!

I have the same problem since about a week now. Already tried disabling firewall and antivirus,restart pc,deleting ipsw, and even putting my iphone 4s in dfu mode 5 times and still error 48. Theres a youtube video saying that only way to fix this is by restoring it with a mac but i doubt it.
I have tried to restore it with a Mac, the same error has occurred.
Unfortunately, this error does not appear in the Update, Restore error list. You would need to make an appointment at the Genius Bar of the nearest Apple Store or Authorized Apple Service provider for assistance. Get help with iOS update and restore errors - Apple Support
